It’s 5 in the morning, it’s summer here in Norfolk and it’s been light for a while! The birds are happily chirping outside and our chickens are itching to see me at the gate! This has to be one of the best times of the day, everyone else is asleep and I’ve got the windows flung open!
I am continuing on the theme of giving an insight into the diversity of projects we work with, to illustrate how we sometimes play a smaller, yet important part in clients planning application submissions.
A client approached us last year to assist with a planning application on a piece of land on the Norfolk Coast. They had submitted the application themselves, but the local authority required more detailed planning drawings. The applicant was applying to replace a dilapidated timber frame home with a park home.
Our client was in the final stages of completing on the purchase of the home and needed to transport it, on wheels from it’s current location outside of Norfolk.
We were able to prepare plans of the plot, the park home, plus landscape and access immediately surrounding the proposed development. We provided a Design and Access Statement and passed all to the client, to add to their application. When the local authority responded to the client for changes, we were able to amend the plan and resubmit in a timely manner.
If you have chosen to submit a planning application independently and more detailed plans and other documentation have been requested please do get in touch, we’ll be happy to chat, give you an estimate of our fees and try to answer any questions you may have. We can produce a Planning Statement, location & site plans plus drawings showing existing and proposed elevations.
