Previously clients wishing to add a ‘larger home extension’ to their property, were allowed to do so as part of their Permitted Development Rights.
This was allowed until 30th May 2019.
The latest news is that this date has now been removed and this Permitted Development will now be permanent from 25th May 2019.
These types of works will still be subject to a ‘Prior Approval Application’ to your local authority and the associated neighbour consultation scheme.
